Delivery
1. General
- These shipping and delivery conditions apply to all orders placed through the Beartjes webshop.
- Beartjes arranges the delivery of products to the delivery address specified by the consumer in the Netherlands (or other countries, if applicable).
- All shipping prices are clearly communicated in advance during the ordering process.
2. Shipping methods & delivery times
- Beartjes works with reliable delivery services (e.g. postal or courier services) to deliver your order.
- The standard delivery time is 2 – 5 working days (or a timeframe of your choosing, for example “1 – 3 working days”) after receipt of payment and confirmation of the order.
- For orders placed on a business day before a certain cut-off time (e.g. before 4:00 PM), we aim to ship the order sooner (e.g. “the next business day”).
- In exceptional circumstances (e.g., due to peak demand, promotional periods, or carrier delays), delivery may take longer. Customers will be notified of this.

Once the order has been shipped, the customer will receive a shipping confirmation by email with, if possible, a track & trace code so that the delivery can be tracked.
3. Shipping costs & free shipping
- For orders within the Netherlands, a shipping rate of, for example, €3.75 applies (or the amount you determine).
- Free shipping applies from a threshold amount (e.g. €100).
- For deliveries abroad (if you offer this), separate shipping rates and delivery times apply, which are clearly displayed during the ordering process.
- Shipping costs remain the responsibility of the consumer, unless otherwise agreed or legally required.
4. Receiving & Risk
- Once the product has been delivered to the specified delivery address, the risk (e.g. for damage or loss) passes to the consumer, unless otherwise agreed.
- The consumer must check the package for visible damage immediately upon receipt.
- If damage is found upon receipt, the consumer must immediately report this to the delivery person and to Beartjes (for example, by email with photos) in order to be entitled to a replacement or refund.
5. (Un)availability of products
- If a product is no longer available (e.g. sold out), the customer will be notified as soon as possible.

In that case Beartjes can:
- cancel the order (partially),
- offer an alternative product, or
- to arrive at an alternative solution through consultation.
- In case of cancellation of the entire order, the paid amount will be refunded to the customer.
6. Change/cancellation of order
- The consumer can attempt to change or cancel an order (or the delivery details) before shipment.
- However, changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed, especially if the package has already been shipped.

In case of successful cancellation before shipment, the amount paid (including any shipping costs) will be refunded.
7. Communication & tracking
- After placing the order, the customer will receive an order confirmation by email.
- Once the package has been handed over to the carrier, a shipping confirmation will be sent with the track & trace code (if available).

This code allows the customer to track the progress of the delivery.
8. Delays/complaints regarding delivery
- If delivery takes place later than the stated period, the consumer has the right to terminate the agreement, provided that the delay is attributable to Beartjes and the consumer first sets a reasonable period within which to deliver.
- Complaints about delivery (delayed delivery, damaged product, missing products) must be reported to Beartjes in writing by the consumer within 14 days of receipt, stating the order number and photos of any damage.

Beartjes will investigate complaints reasonably and – if justified – provide an appropriate solution (e.g. replacement, refund or compensation).
9. Other provisions
- Beartjes is not liable for delays caused by the carrier or by events beyond reasonable control (such as extreme weather conditions, strikes, force majeure).
- In the event of force majeure that hinders or delays delivery, the consequences and possible solutions will be discussed with the customer.
- Beartjes reserves the right to amend these delivery terms and conditions; changes will be published on the website and will apply to future orders.
