Returns & Exchanges
1. General
- These return and exchange conditions apply to all products ordered through the Beartjes webshop.
- Consumers (natural persons) have the right to return or exchange products within the specified period, provided that the conditions below are met.
2. Right of return / cancellation
- The consumer can cancel the purchase within 14 days (or your desired period, for example 30 days) after receipt without giving any reason.
- The cooling-off period starts on the day after you receive the product.
- To exercise the right of return, the consumer must inform Beartjes of the cancellation (e.g. by email) within the period and then return the product.

The consumer has the duty to handle the product with care during the cooling-off period.
3. Exchange
- If a consumer wants a different item (different size, color or variant), this can be considered an exchange.
- The consumer must return the original order and place a new order for the desired item, unless you support a combined exchange procedure within your system.
- If available, Beartjes can also facilitate returns and shipping of the new item (depending on internal procedure).
- Shipping costs for the exchange (both return and shipping of the new item) may be borne by the consumer, unless otherwise agreed.
4. Conditions for returns/exchanges
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions generally apply:
- The product must be unused, with original tags, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.
- Products must not be washed, worn or damaged
- Any accessories, instructions or receipts must be included
- The return address and return instructions (such as return form, address, label) must be followed
- The consumer must keep proof of shipment (e.g. proof of shipment)
5. Costs & method of return shipment
- In most cases, the consumer is responsible for the costs of return shipping, unless otherwise stated (e.g. return postage free for specific promotions).
- We recommend that you send the return shipment insured or with a track & trace code, so that the returned package can be tracked.
- In case of cancellation, Beartjes will refund the purchase price (including standard shipping costs), unless the consumer chooses a more expensive shipping method than standard.
- There may be exceptions for return shipping costs for exchanges — this can be specified in your policy.
6. Refund
- After receiving and inspecting the returned item, Beartjes will refund the paid amount within 14 days.
- Beartjes may withhold reimbursement until the product has been received or until the consumer has provided proof of return, whichever is earlier.
- The refund will be made via the same payment method used by the consumer, unless otherwise agreed.
7. Exclusion of return/exchange
In certain cases, returns or exchanges are excluded, provided this is clearly stated in advance:
- Products that are custom made or personalized
- Products that cannot be returned for hygienic reasons if the seal is broken (such as certain underwear, socks)
- Products that cannot be returned due to their nature (e.g. perishable products)
- Digital goods or downloads (if applicable)
8. Rejection of return/exchange
- If the returned product does not meet the conditions (damaged, used, missing parts), Beartjes reserves the right to reject the return or exchange, or to charge a depreciation fee.
- In that case, the item can be returned to the consumer after the consumer pays the shipping costs, or other solutions can be offered.
9. Procedure & communication
- Beartjes will keep the consumer informed of the return or exchange process (confirmation of return notification, receipt of the product, refund, etc.).
- Complaints or questions about the return procedure can be submitted via [email or contact form], stating the order number and the reason for return/exchange.
10. Changes to return/exchange conditions
Beartjes reserves the right to change these return and exchange policies. Amended policies will be published on the website and will apply to future orders.
